Description

The Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Network (FCERM.net) Annual Assembly brings together a diverse range of professionals from across the Flood Risk Management sector, as well as those working in related disciplines. The event aims to:

  1. Share information about on-going research in FCERM and identify
    knowledge gaps
  2. Develop a dialogue between research and research users, with empshais on generating impact
  3. Create opportunities for networking and encourage development of research students and
    early career researchers in FCERM
  4. To promote the dissemination of research outcomes into information of that is of practical value to the user-community in ways that generate powerful impact

The assembly is open to all FCERM.net members and professionals interested in Flood Risk Management and will take place in Edinburgh on May 28th 2015 following the Special Session on Flood Risk Management at the IWRA World Water Congress in Edinburgh on May 27th .


Our Annual Assembly will take place in the John McIntyre Conference Centre at 9am on Thursday 28th May with coffee and registration at 8.30am.

We are holding a limited number of rooms for our Annual Assembly delegates. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis but are primarily reserved for those who are traveling from outside the city.
